ABOUT PLAY
CHALK, a powerful play written by award-winning writer, and radio host AL LETSON, brings awareness to, and promotes discussion of bullying among middle and high school students. CHALK centers around a group of girls making the transition from elementary to middle school, as “relational aggression” manifests, and begins to change the lives of the students. The play features twelve to fourteen actors in an ensemble piece that incorporates movement, rhythm, poetic monologues, and utilizes a Greek chorus to intensify the drama.
